The password you enter is case sensitive. In other words 'Smarty' and 'smarty' are two different words because the 'S' is upper case and lower case.

Yes, you need to have Flash enabled. The games and other elements on this site use Flash technology. Flash is a plug-in which can be installed in your browser in order to add functions such as online games.
You should therefore have this module (or plug-in) in order to be able to play. Adobe Flash Player 9 or later is required.

Flash installation procedure

1) Go to Macromedia Flash Player Download Center
2) Click on 'Agree and Install now'

If a warning message asks you to confirm the installation of Macromedia Flash Player software, answer "Yes".
3) After a few seconds, you should see an animation and a confirmation message that installation has been successful.
Your computer may need to be restarted following the installation.

 There are few reasons why the games can run slowly. Here are a couple of ideas you can try to speed things up:

- make sure you are not running any other programs or downloading music or video content.

- occasionally things run slowly when our system is very busy. The weekends are a popular time to play with Fish Smarty. You might experience the games running slower then. Try to login again.

- your connection to the Internet is slow. You could ask your parent to investigate why the connection is slow and how to improve it.

- you might be playing from a slow computer. There is not much you can do, except playing on a different computer.

Fish Smarty is designed to work with the slowest connections. We recommend broadband. Some computers use dial-up or 56K modem. This will work, but you may find that it takes a longer time to load and connect.

Here are a couple of Internet connections which are faster:

- a modem with a speed of 2Mb per second on your dial-up connection.

- a computer with DSL or cable connection.

- a computer with fiber optic connection.

The way you connect to the Internet may be a slow one. We recommend using a broadband connection. Refresh and reload the page. While visiting Fish Smarty make sure you are not downloading music or video materials from other websites. This can really slow down your connection.
