Fish Smarty™ has been created by Smarty Education, a company formed by two innovative founders to pioneer and develop new forms of education.

The main vision for Smarty Education is to innovate and deliver high-quality educational content for people around the world using modern techniques and a proven scientific approach. We are investing in innovation and new methods for world-class online education.

The current team consists of several specialists including primary school and kindergarten teachers, educational advisors and researchers, children's book illustrators, graphic designers, and software developers. Moreover, we are a truly international and innovative team; 10 nationalities working together to bring you the fantastic world of Fish Smarty.

Smarty Education is headquartered in the city of Dublin, Ireland.

Project - Fish Smarty™

The idea of creating an online educational playground for children was born in 2008. The founders of Fish Smarty wanted to build an ad-free and safe environment where children could explore the world, play, learn, and have fun at the same time.

After months of studying educational materials, interviewing parents, and analyzing different national curricula, the concept of Explore, Play, and Learn™ was finalized as a base for Fish Smarty development.

In early 2009, Fish Smarty was released to a limited number of parents and children around the world for reviewing and testing; receiving great feedback.

Fish Smarty opened to the public in the third quarter 2009, so far gathering a considerable community of parents and children using it daily to get enjoyment, inspiration and knowledge.
